Intergenerational Day brings together old friends for Roseberry CourtResidents from HC-One’s Roseberry Court Care Home in Redcar, Cleveland enjoyed a day out at The Coatham Memorial Hall for Intergenerational Day.

Different generations from the local community and surrounding areas attended the national day, where they could enjoy music, a buffet, bingo and a fun raffle together.

The show this time around was Goodfellas Duet who sang songs from the different decades. Residents had a great time singing along and dancing to the music.

During the bands interval, the Residents all enjoyed playing a few games of prize bingo. Unfortunately, none of our Residents won but they didn’t let that dampen their spirits.

This opportunity even gave the Residents the chance to catch up with old friends that they haven’t seen for ages which brought huge smiles to their faces. Jean Boyed commented:

“Oh I haven’t seen my friend I years, it was so lovely to see her again.”

Roseberry Court’s Home Manager, Alison Corner commented:

“We think it’s important for our Residents to be part of Intergeneration Day and do our upmost best to make sure as many Residents as we can enjoy this monthly visit to The Coatham Memorial Hall.”
