An amazing Resident at HC-One’s Ladywood care home in Ilkeston, celebrated her 100th birthday this month, surrounded by love.
On March 20th, Colleagues decorated Nora’s room with birthday decorations, 100th birthday buntings, balloons and more ready for her birthday on the 20th. Nora also received her card from The Queen, which she absolutely loved.
Nora had said that a few years ago she travelled to London to see The Queen and loves the royal family, all the grandeur and class around it.
Throughout the day, in line with the new eased restrictions, Nora had visitors to help her celebrate the big day and whom showered her in love with some beautiful flowers, cards and a big coke.
Ladywood Deputy Manager said: “Nora seemed really happy and in great health. We are over the moon to celebrate this huge milestone with her.”
