Ice creams all around at Sheffield care home
Residents at Alexander Court made the most of the spring sunshine as it was ice creams all around at the Sheffield-based care home.
After seeing the nice weather forecast for the weekend, staff at Alexander Court invited the ice cream van round to the home to offer Residents a tasty yet refreshing treat.
Colleagues asked all Residents what they would like and it was treats all round, as funds from the previous month’s fundraiser were certainly put to good use!
Staff and Residents enjoyed a sunny afternoon together as they enjoyed their treats, ranging from traditional 99s to a fruity assortment of lollies.
One Resident said: “It’s been lovely. Today has reminded me of old times sitting out in the garden with the grandchildren, enjoying our favourite ice creams!”
