HC-One’s Hurst Hall Care Centre, situated in Dukinfield hosted a road trip north to Blackpool attended by residents and their carers. Family and friends of Residents at Hurst Hall are very supportive of their activities and very happy that their loved ones are still getting out and about.
Residents from Hurst Hall made the most of the fine autumnal weather to enjoy a day trip to Blackpool to enjoy the sights, fish and chips and of course Blackpool illuminations.
Whilst in Blackpool the residents enjoyed fish and chips in a local food outlet. They also enjoyed a stroll along the pier, before driving through the Blackpool illuminations.
The residents really enjoyed their trip to Blackpool to see the lights and would like to do something again soon!
Cathryn Carr, Hurst Hall Care Home Manager said “Well done to everyone who supported us and helped in arranging a successful Blackpool trip for our Residents and to all the staff who were committed enough to give their Friday up to help, love seeing our Residents getting to go out and still enjoy life. Now that’s what I call a good team!”
HC-One’s Area Director, Bridget El-Mokhtari, said: “Providing fun and enjoyable trips like this one is an important part of HC-One providing the kindest care. I am delighted that everyone enjoyed themselves.”
