Huntingdon care home Residents get up dancing to live banjo musicResidents at The Red House care home in Ramsey, Huntingdon were really excited to see the return of ‘Sean the Banjo Man’ to sing and entertain them all again.

Entertainer Sean previously visited the Residents, which was organised by Colleague Catherine, where he played popular songs on his banjo musical instrument, and the activity went down so well that he was invited back.

All the Residents that joined in for the activity at the 58-bed residential, nursing and dementia care home had a great time singing along to all the songs they remembered from years gone by.

Some Residents were up dancing, having a good old knees-up, and some of the other Residents were chair dancing along to the music and singing.

All in all, everyone had a lovely afternoon followed by a nice cup of tea and a delicious slice of cake.

Danielle Rivers, Manager, said, “I would like to say a big thank you to Sean for being so good with everyone here.”
“Everyone was so happy, and we hope to see Sean again.”
