Humberston Residents do like to be beside the seasideHaving not been to the beach this year, Colleagues and Residents at HC-One’s Clarendon Hall residential and nursing care home decided they would have a beach theme afternoon.

The sand came out and those involved got to work making sandcastles whilst enjoying some candyfloss and rock, taking many Residents back to their childhood.

Shirley Crampton, who lives at the 49-bed care home, said, “It has been years since I have built a sandcastle it was good fun.”

Hayley Sandison, Wellbeing Coordinator, organised for some games with the beach ball and on the television, Residents watched some reminiscence of beaches through the years.

Michelle Petherbridge, Nursing Assistant, commented, “It was lovely to spend time with the Residents building sandcastles.”
