Residents at HC One’s The Denby care home have spent the afternoon getting creative with some old teapots.
The Residents at the Huddersfield care home decided that they would put their old teapots to good use rather than throwing them away.
They got together over a cup of tea and painted the old teapots in bright colours and marvellous patterns. Once they have dried, the Residents will plant flowers and herbs in them and then put them out in the garden for everyone to enjoy.
Margaret Johnson said 'the teapots were old and they were going to throw them away but with a lick of paint they'll be as good as new. Rather than tea pots, we have made ourselves some plant pots"
