Residents at The Oakes care home in Huddersfield created a beautiful poppy display in honour of Remembrance Day.
Creative ideas were flowing as Residents drew, cut out and painted poppies to add to the display, while some also created a beautiful poppy wreath from papier mache.
As they got to work on creating the display, Residents shared memories of growing up during the war, as many had loved ones who served in the Armed Forces.
Everyone was delighted with the finished result, which was a beautiful collection of artwork to represent Remembrance Day.
One Resident commented: “I’m so happy with how the display has turned out, it looks absolutely beautiful.”
