Residents and some Colleagues from Ash Grove Care Home recently enjoyed a visit to local Kew Gardens.
An exhibit on Chihuly’s contemporary glass art was on display for all to see, with Residents especially finding an interest in the dazzling sculptures on display.
The gardens were surrounded in blooming flowers, plants and various wildlife creatures as everyone walked around, admiring the beautiful surroundings.
Afterwards, everyone gathered together to sit and enjoy a homemade picnic lunch as they discussed their favourite parts of the day – from the smell of the beautiful flowers, to the sun shining on the gardens.
Cynthia Bayonito, Home Manager, commented: “it’s wonderful to see Residents enjoying themselves, and I’m so happy that they had a nice time.”
