Residents at Westwood Lodge received a very special surprise when they were visited by two Shetland ponies – Sonny and Dolly.
The Residents loved seeing these lovely animals, especially as some had been around a horse or pony in many years. One Resident, Eunice, especially loves horses, and it has been one of her biggest wishes to see a horse again.
Her dream had really come true when she met these beautiful ponies, and she especially favoured Sonny. She commented: “I have loved horses ever since I was younger, and had always been around them as a little girl. I loved being able to see these animals again, its made me so happy.”
Sounds like a wonderful visit for the Residents!
