Horsham care home celebrated World Kindness DayHC-One’s Oakhill House care home were delighted to celebrate World Kindness Day together as they welcomed Relatives who donated new and unused clothing for the Salvation Army.

Residents enjoyed sorting through the items of clothing with their Relatives, and kindly donated the items of clothing to the Salvation Army once they visited the home soon after.

The Residents in the home enjoyed celebrating Kindness Day in this way, discussing the different ways they like to be kind, and sorting through the clothing, folding it up to be donated.

The home found the activity to be both valuable and meaningful to everyone who took part, and enjoyed the opportunity to give something to the community.

Rebecca Condie, home manager, commented: “This activity was a good way to increase our involvement with the local community and organisations nearby. We hope the items of clothing help those who need them.”
