Horden care home alive with the sound of musicResidents and staff at HC-One’s Jack Dormand care home in Horden, County Durham, enjoyed a spontaneous karaoke singalong session on Wednesday 22nd January.

When a group of Residents mentioned that they would enjoy singing along to some of their favourite songs, Wellbeing Coordinator, Danielle Mustard and Care Assistant, Chloe Southward, got the home’s karaoke machine out.

Everyone sang along to their favourite tunes, while some decided to wear a wig to become like their singing idols, the karaoke session brought smiles and laughter to the faces of all.

Marie Shillaw, Home Manager at Jack Dormand said: “The smallest things can have a big impact on people’s lives, it’s lovely to see our Residents enjoying themselves and making happy memories together.”
