Residents Mary and Gladys at The Beeches care home in Dukinfield, Tameside enjoyed an exciting trip out to the open day at Holy Trinity church.
The activities began with a lovely buffet lunch and a few quiz rounds, enabling Residents to get to know other guests at the event.
Following the delicious lunch, the ladies enjoyed armchair aerobics, making homemade cards at the arts and crafts session and finishing off with a final quiz round.
Both Mary and Gladys thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon, with both ladies meeting up with old friend and reminiscing over fond memories they all had of helping out at the church over the years.
Louise Clifford, Home Manager at The Beeches, said: “It was really lovely to see Mary and Gladys catching up with some old friends. The ladies thoroughly enjoyed the activities at the church and were smiling all day long!”
