With September on us surprisingly quick, colder weathers are fast approaching so Residents at Tameside’s
Holme Lea residential and residential memory care home decided to take advantage of the last warm days and nice scenic views by taking a trip out to the nearby park.
The aviary, duck pond and the fountains were all lovely scenic views to be seen as Residents admired with a nice cup of tea in hand.
There is such a peaceful atmosphere in the park and Colleagues said that it is a major stepping stone for them with restrictions lifting, it is allowing care home Residents to get out and about again.
From here, the home plans on longer distance trips, being able to venture out of the minibus and experience everything first-hand. They’re excited to start planning and getting these trips underway!
Craig Hardman, Care Home Manager, remarked, “It’s good to see the Residents getting out into the fresh air and enjoying their time at the park.”
