The local village preschool have regularly visited Hollymere House to entertain and chat to Residents, and this week they invited the Residents to go to their school instead.
Residents Margaret, Ena & Emma went along with members of the care team to the school where they had a wonderful visit and really enjoyed the warm welcome from the children.
Haslington Preschool welcomes all children from the age of two.
Hollymere House have developed strong links with the pre-school and Residents really enjoy this association and link within the community.
Hollymere House manager Rob Wheatley said
“We just wanted to bring the old and young together and when the children come into our home, the Residents faces light up. It is lovely to see them interacting. It brings so many memories back and they all have so much love to give. It’s enjoyed by all.”
