Holidays are coming! Residents enjoy a festive day outOn Thursday, Residents from HC-One’s Foxton Court Care Home in Morpeth, Northumberland, got into the Christmas spirit with a festive trip to see the Coca Cola truck that was in town.

The first stop on their festive tour was to Peter Barrett’s garden centre to check out their Christmas display. The Residents enjoyed picking up some presents for their family and seeing all of the decorations that were on offer.

The bus then took everyone back into Morpeth to see the Coca Cola truck as it has stopped there on it’s 2018 tour, much to the Residents delight.

The Residents had a great day out, despite it being November there was plenty of Christmas merchandise for everyone to look at. There was such a festive buzz in and around Morpeth with the Coca Cola truck visiting, a Christmas market complete with elves.

Louise Dey, Deputy Manager at Foxton Court, commented:

“It’s brilliant to see how much fun the Residents have when they go out on their bus trips and this one was no different, with everyone getting into the Christmas spirit.

Hearing them talk about their day out and the positive feedback definitely brings a beaming smile to everyone in the homes faces.”
