HC-One’s Foxton Court Care Home in Morpeth, Northumberland look forward to their visit fromRookie Golf twice a month and this month was the highest attendance with 18/19 Residents attending.
Rookie Golf bring fun, gentle exercises with a twist to the home and this time everyone turned it into a competition.
Everybody brought their A-Game to the session, with some of the less experienced Residents sweeping the high points at the start of the game.
New Resident Joyce Henderson stormed ahead, getting 50 points in one game, which was the highest points available throughout the whole competition. She then went on to win, coming away with the highest points ever scored – well done Joyce!
Laughter rang out through the home during the Rookie Golf tournament with Residents commenting:
“We loved the competition, it was the best session we’ve ever had with Rookie Golf.”
