Hodge Hill Grange gives thanks for Christmas hamper donationsColleagues at HC-One’s Hodge Hill Grange care home were pleased to receive a variety of kind donations for their Christmas hamper collection.

The idea came about as raffle tickets were due to be sold to raise money for a refurbishment of the communal outside space, and so it was decided that the home would create hampers and offer them as raffle prizes.

Relatives kindly donated items to help create the Christmas hampers, and Colleagues were able to create three large hampers, with a Santa Claus actor drawing the three lucky winners.

The raffle made a wonderful sum of £86, with everyone delighted at the result. Home manager, Theresa Ingram-Gettins, commented: “I’d like to give my thanks to all involved and those who donated the items to us here at the home.”
