
Residents at Hodge Hill Grange Care Home in Birmingham were in for a delightful surprise when they were visited by a group of adorable ponies. The cheerful ponies for Lollipop Ponies brought smiles and joy to everyone at the home.
Patricia, resident and Hodge Hill Grange, said:
“I love seeing the ponies. I used to keep them as a girl. This brought back so many fond memories for me.”
The lollipop ponies, with their sweet and gentle nature, offered a therapeutic experience and residents enjoyed petting the ponies and learning about how to care for them.
Wellbeing coordinator, Nikita Palmer said:
“It was amazing to see to the residents interacting with the ponies and hearing stories from their past. It was such a wonderful experience and we can’t wait to invite the ponies back for another visit”.
