Each day, Residents and Colleagues at HC-One’s Hodge Hill Grange Care Home take part in different activities as they ‘stop the clock’ together. Stop the Clock refers to each member of staff stopping the task they are doing and sitting with the Residents to either take part in an activity or simply talk to each other.
This time, everyone took part in a game of skittles. Residents thoroughly enjoyed themselves as they displayed excellent hand-eye coordination and each played against each other.
They especially found it amusing to be in competition with the Home Manager as they each attempted to become the winner of the game.
Theresa Ingram-Gettins, Home Manager, commented: “It is wonderful to get involved with Residents every day and join in on such exciting activities. It creates such a wonderful connection with the Residents.”
