Hindley Care Home Enjoys Success in CQC ReportCarrington Court Home is celebrating having received a glowing report from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

The team at Carrington Court were delighted to have received an impressive CQC report that rated the home as ‘Good’ in all areas, demonstrating that the home is providing high standards of care for Residents, demonstrating that the home is Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsible, and Well-Led.
The inspectors were full of praise for colleagues at Carrington Court, highlighting the kind ways in which they provide care for Residents at the home. This sentiment was echoed by Relatives, who made remarks such as "The staff care about the person they are caring for. It has taken away my worry, I can sleep peacefully; "The care has been outstanding. Staff are really friendly and considerate, nothing is too much trouble.” Cards could also be found in the home thanking the staff for the support they had provided to people, one reading: "We would like to say a heartfelt thanks to all staff at Carrington Court. With your love, care, support, respect and allowing as much dignity as possible to our [Relative]."
 
Inspectors commented on the positive use of black and white ‘old style’ photos to aid reminiscence, as well as nostalgic activities available for Residents to enjoy. Within the inspection, it was also mentioned how various outings take place regularly and where possible, Residents’ wishes are fulfilled when deciding the activities.
