Residents at Hinckley Park in Leicestershire were delighted to see the local Christmas lights as part of the home’s festive celebrations.
Hinckley and Burbage has a reputation for having some of the best Christmas lights in the area, so Residents from the home went along for their annual visit to get into the festive spirit.
The evening involved enjoying music from the Salvation Army inside the local church, listening to the Mayor’s speech and meeting Santa, who arrived with a delivery of gifts for all guests.
After receiving their gifts, everyone tucked into mince pies and tea and sang along to the brass band.
Norma Hewitt, a Resident at the home, commented: “It was a brilliant evening and I really enjoyed myself. I enjoyed meeting new people and getting into the Christmas spirit.”
Sharon Butler, Home Manager at Hinckley Park, said: “Residents and Colleagues from Hinckley Park attend this event every year. It is a lovely wat to start all the festivities.”
