Residents at HC-One’s
The Willows care home in Hinckley, celebrated the big day with a Royal quiz, games and an afternoon tea.
Queen Elizabeth celebrated her 95th birthday on April 21st and Residents wanted to make sure they celebrated it with her, especially after the loss of her beloved husband, Prince Philip, they felt even more obliged to celebrate.
Colleagues supported by buying some lovely afternoon tea for Residents to enjoy. They enjoyed some lovely fresh scones, sandwiches and some hot tea and coffee. Colleagues also decorated the home with union jack buntings, balloons and laid out some masks for Residents to use on the day.
Residents were also visited by the Queen herself, sort of, which they really enjoyed, especially trying to figure out which member of staff was behind it.
