Hexham care home Residents take a lovely trip to Langley CastleResidents at Acomb Court, residential and residential dementia care home in Hexham, took a lovely trip out on Tuesday 30th August, to see a lovely historical landmark.

Residents Liz, Ron, Peter, Len, Teresa and William, along with Wellbeing Coordinator Lisa and Minibus Driver Ron, got on the minibus for a lovely trip out to Langley Castle.

Local to the care home, Langley Castle is based in the lovely town of Hexham. The castle is set in a ten-acre woodland estate and hosts many lovely events including weddings and get away breaks.

The Residents took a trip down to the castle for a lovely walk around and a spot of afternoon tea.

The area around the castle was beautiful and the Resident soaked up the ambience of the beautiful historic castle.

Everyone enjoyed a lovely cup and tea and scone, whilst taking in the scenery.

All the Residents involved thoroughly enjoyed the trip and are really looking forward to going out on the minibus again soon!

Louise Carverhill, Care Home Manager, remarked, “All the Residents had a lovely day out at Langley Castle and are really looking forward to another trip soon!”
