Hebburn Court care home was delighted to help celebrate the diamond wedding anniversary of two of its Residents in the home.
Ray and Jean French enjoyed a day filled with heartfelt love and laughter as they celebrated their 60 years of marriage surrounded by family and friends in the home.
In honour of the milestone anniversary, staff at Hebburn Court arranged afternoon tea, a selection of sweet treats and live entertainment for the couple, as well as dressing the room with celebratory balloons.
Ray said: “Jean is the butter to my bread, the breath to my life. She’s my lady.”
Julie Wade, a Nursing Assistant at Hebburn Court, said: “The whole team felt honoured to help Ray and Jean celebrate their special day together surrounded by their loved ones. It’s amazing to see the love that they both share after all these years.”
