Three Residents from HC-One’s Hawthorn Court care home in Hebburn enjoyed a day out to their local garden centre and coast on Wednesday 31st July.
The group headed to Red Fox Garden World in Gateshead where they browsed the shop and admired the wonderful plants, some reminisced about which plants they had in their own gardens as everyone enjoyed a cup of tea in the onsite café.
Before heading back to Hawthorn Court, the group decided to enjoy some fresh seaside air at South Shields, Residents admired the scenery before having a traditional fish and chip lunch on the seafront.
Hawthorn Court Home Manager, Amanda Sleightholme said: “What a great day for our Residents, it was lovely to hear their highlights from the trip and see the smiles on their faces when they returned back to the home.”
