Hebburn Care Home Enjoys Success in CQC ReportHC-One’s Hawthorn Court Care Home in Hebburn, Tyne and Wyre, is celebrating having received a glowing report from the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

The team at Hawthorn Court Care Home was delighted to have received an impressive CQC report that rated the home as “Good” overall. The report demonstrates that the home is providing high standards of care for Residents and is Caring, Safe, Effective, Responsive and Well-Led.

The CQC’s report praised the team at Hawthorn Court for their effectiveness, saying that colleagues were well trained through HC-One’s comprehensive training and development programmes. Residents and their relatives shared this assessment, with one Resident remarking that they "couldn't be better cared for here." 

The report also had good things to say about the caring nature of staff at Hawthorn Court, noting that they were ‘friendly, caring and warm in their conversations with people’. The CQC commented that they had been told by one Resident, "I am so happy here, it's my home. They look after me well." It isn’t just the Residents who are happy with their care – but their relatives too. One relative said "It's a great place and they do a wonderful job looking after everyone."
