HC-One is celebrating reaching the finals of the National Care Awards, where it has been nominated for the title of Care Home Group of the Year. The winner will be announced at a black-tie presentation dinner at the Hilton London Metropole on 24
th November hosted by comedian David Baddiel.
The National Care Awards, are the longest established annual awards for the health and social care sector. Now in its 19
th year, the awards are organised by leading care sector publication, Caring Times. The awards celebrate the very best people in the long-term care sector, highlighting excellence and rewarding those who work tirelessly to consistently provide outstanding care.
HC-One celebrated its 5
th anniversary in 2017, seizing the opportunity to relaunch itself as ‘HC-One The Kind Care Company’. The rebrand featured the release of new, short stories from some of the older people living in HC-One homes, and celebrated the lives of the many people supported in HC-One homes today.
HC-One will also become the largest care home group in the UK in 2017, with the acquisition of Helen McArdle Care early in the year, and the recent announcement of an agreement to purchase 122 Bupa care homes. For HC-One, this has all been part of a journey from turnaround to transformation across a family of homes.
HC-One has a 9.3/10 average rating on the sector’s leading care home comparison website carehome.co.uk. The high rating demonstrates HC-One is one of the best companies in the care home sector as rated by service users.
