HC-One the ‘kind care company’ family of care homes, once again proudly embraced Care Home Open Day with a "Celebrating Art in care" themed day for 2019.
This annual event gave us a chance to open our doors to our community neighbours so they could gain an insight into what we do and have the opportunity to meet some of the remarkable Residents living in our homes.
Encouraging our Residents to be involved in the creative arts can give them a real sense of self, it can delight, inspire and promote their wellbeing. Our homes were ‘Celebrating Art in Care’ by hosting Art Competition and hosting afternoon tea along with a wide range of entertainment and fun activities!
Homes were thrilled to throw open their doors and to welcome members of the local community, who spend a little time in our homes to gain a greater understanding of the wonderful work our kind, caring Colleagues do every day of the year.
As part of our art celebrations and the warm welcome we want to extend to everyone our kind Colleagues were offering tours of our homes, the opportunity to meet some of the wonderful Residents and to find out more about their amazing lives.
Care Home Open Day is loved by so many of our Residents, the day once again had a real buzz and is something so many look forward to; a chance to share and celebrate their life with others. We want to give a huge thank you to all of those who attended one of our events.
