HC-One home credited with Kindness by RelativeHC-One’s Meadow Bank Care Home in Preston were delighted when CEO Justin Hutchens visited the home to present a well-deserved kindness in care award to the team.

A Relative had wrote a letter of thanks directly to Justin Hutchens to express his thanks for the care which his father, Norman, received during his stay at Meadow Bank, Ribble House Unit.

Resident Norman Davies had sadly passed away in the home but his son Colin was delighted with the standard of his care.

He particularly highlighted Unit Manager Lexi's empathy and care towards his father and the outstanding work her team did to show true kindness in care. Mr Davies described his experience with Meadow Bank as exceptional and felt he was provided with the “best possible nursing care” for his father.

Home Manager, Helen Holden commented:

"We were delighted to receive a visit from Justin and Colin. It was lovely for the staff of Ribble House to be shown such appreciation for the kind care shown to Mr Davies during his final weeks. It was a privilege to support him and his family through this difficult time.  We are all very proud of the team!"
