Hayes care home Wellbeing Coordinator receives Great British Care AwardHC-One’s Aston House care home in Hayes is celebrating the amazing achievement of Wellbeing Coordinator, Laura Baumane, who recently won a regional Great British Care Award.

Laura was announced as the winner of The Care Home Activity Organiser award at the Great London Care Awards 2018 ceremony at Hilton Bankside in November 2018. Winners from all of the categories in the regional awards will go through to the final, national awards, which will be held at Birmingham’s ICC on Friday 8th March 2019. 

The judges from the Great London Care Awards were full of praise for Laura, saying:

“Laura thinks outside the box when helping people through her work. She breathes passion and shows innovation and energy. Laura believes it up to her to give energy to each person – “I want to feel I have done it”. Some great examples given during her interview about how she supports individual people by both unusual and simpler activities.”
