Hayes care home Residents visit London EyeResidents at HC-One’s Aston House care home in Hayes visited London an afternoon on Wednesday 13th February and went on the infamous, London Eye.

The sunny weather provided the perfect day for sightseeing in the big city, Masie and husband and wife, Sidney and Jean went on the London Eye where they enjoyed beautiful views of London. 

Sidney showed the areas where there was bombings during the war and was amazed how little London has changed. He said that apart from few extra buildings the main tourist points such as Big Ben, Houses of Parliament, St Pauls Cathedral and some museums still looked the same. 

After the London Eye, the group stopped for doughnuts before heading back to Aston House. Residents commented on what a wonderful time they had and are already looking forward to their next exciting day out.
