Hayes care home Residents enjoy trip to local farmResidents at HC-One’s Aston House care home, were delighted to take a trip to the local Hounslow Urban Farm, alongside Colleagues from the home.

Upon arriving, Residents were happy to see the beauty of the farm, complete with a variety of animals including peacocks, ducks, rabbits and goats, as well as many animal encounters with guided talks available.

Everyone enjoyed themselves as they walked around the farm, admiring the animals and feeding a few, including one of the large pigs on the farm.

To end the afternoon on a high, everyone then took a trip to a local restaurant where they enjoyed a warm beverage and a delicious meal, discussing their favourite animals seen at the farm.

Seema Jose, Home Manager, commented: “Animal therapy is such an important activity, Residents enjoy seeing animals and it is such a great boost for wellbeing.”
