HC-One’s Aston House care home in Hayes organised for Residents to enjoy a morning at Uxbridge shopping centres and the local market on Monday 17th September.
Joan Evans, a Resident at Aston House has always enjoyed being out and has not let her decline in mobility stop her having an active social life. The team at Aston House assist to her so that she can continue her hobbies and interests, including shopping.
On her trip to Oxbridge Joan enjoyed browsing the shops and purchasing some new clothes and toiletries, she also helped pick out some treats for fellow Resident, Mary who is unable to leave the home. After a busy morning, Joan decided she wanted a special treat of a McDonald’s lunch and returned to Aston House with a big smile on her face.
Later that day, another Resident, Shati Ram wanted to pop to the local shops, where picked out some new pyjamas and snacks for a lovely quiet evening watching the television.
