Residents at HC-One’s Aston House care home came together to celebrate as fellow Resident, Helen, celebrated turning 101 years of age.
Whilst visits are unable to take place during current circumstances, Colleagues at the home decided to ensure Helen still enjoyed an extra special celebration, beginning with a delivery of many cards from her Relatives and loved ones, as well as a video call from her close family members to wish her a happy birthday.
Members of the team at Aston House marked the celebrations by presenting Helen with a delicious home made cake and an afternoon tea with the lounge decorated with balloons and banners for the occasion.
Home Manager, Seema Jose, commented: “Helen is such a lovely lady, she is well known for her wonderful sense of humour. We hope to hold a bigger party for her once we are able to welcome visitors again.”
