Hayes Care Home Enjoys Success In CQC Report
HC-One’s Aston House Home in Hayes, Middlesex is celebrating having received a glowing report from the Care Quality Commission (CQC). 

The team at Aston House were delighted to have received an impressive CQC report that rated the home as ‘Good’ in all areas, demonstrating that the home is providing high standards of care for Residents, demonstrating that the home is Safe, Effective, Caring, Responsible, and Well-Led.

The inspectors were full of praise for Colleagues at Aston House, highlighting the kind ways in which they provide care for Residents at the home. This sentiment was echoed by Relatives, who made remarks such as “From the very beginning, I had a good feeling about the place and I am very pleased that my [family member] is here”. It was also noted how the home ensured a respect of people’s cultural and religious needs, from ensuring the food is what they like or require, to receiving regular visits from religious individuals.

Cards could be found in the home thanking the staff for the support they had provided to people, one reading: “Bless you for all your kindness and thoughtfulness to all Residents", "The service and care my [family member] receives is one of the highest quality. The care home is very clean, staff go above and beyond."

Inspectors commented on the level of support that was provided to Residents to ensure they were able to take part in activities and hobbies they enjoyed, especially through the use of a daily ‘stop the clock’ activity in which staff would stop their tasks to take part in activities with Residents.
