HC-One’s Aston Court Care Home, in Hayes, Hillingdon, West London, is appealing for kind-hearted people to send birthday cards to a resident who is turning 100.
Albert Deane, 99, who is a resident at HC-One’s Aston House Care Home was born on November 19, 1924, in Fulham, West London. Albert has led an exciting life and is a former professional boxer who once took on a number of opponents across the UK.
As well as being a lover of sports, particularly boxing and running, Albert also enjoys spending time in Aston House’s library and reminiscing about his days in the ring. He is also a proud father of three sons.
He will be celebrating the special occasion with friends and family, but the team at HC-One’s Aston House Care Home would like to make it extra special. Aston House Care Home are asking people to send Albert a birthday card as it "would mean so much” to Albert.

“To mark this amazing milestone birthday, we’re rallying together to get Albert at least 100 birthday cards – one for every year of his incredible life! Whether it’s a store-bought card, a handmade masterpiece, or just a simple note, we want to fill his day with lots of love and laughter.
“It would mean so much to Albert, reading the well wishes and messages from others in the local community.”
