Hawthorn Court care home in Hebburn was delighted to welcome Nursery Time to the home for an afternoon of fun activities with the Residents.
The children were put into small groups to spend time with different Residents, where they helped them colour in and chatted together.
After seeing the home filled with laughter and smiles, the team at Hawthorn Court are hoping to welcome visits from the nursery on a weekly basis.
One Resident commented: “It really did make my day to have the nursery visit us, I couldn’t stop smiling.”
Amanda Sleightholme, Home Manager at Hawthorn Court, said: “Everyone was thrilled to see Nursery Time turn up at the home, as it’s lovely to see our Residents engaging with the children and joining in with their activities.”
