Residents at Hawthorn Court care home in Hebburn were delighted to welcome Musical Minds to the home for a special performance.
Musical Minds is a performance group where each member dresses up in old-fashioned clothing to sing songs from around the world from eras that the Residents can relate to.
The Residents enjoyed singing along to the songs and participating in a quiz, which involved guessing quotes from common life sayings.
One Resident commented: “I really enjoyed that performance, it brought back so many wonderful memories.”
Amanda Sleightholme, Home Manager at Hawthorn Court, said: “Everyone really enjoyed the performance from Musical Minds, and we are already looking forward to them hopefully coming back in the future.”
