Residents at Hawthorn Court care home in Hebburn welcomed a group of special visitors from the local nursery for an afternoon of fun craft activities.
Everyone at Hawthorn Court had a fantastic time talking with the children, as well as helping them complete jigsaw puzzles and colouring in some pictures.
One Resident commented: “It was lovely to have the local nursery come to visit. It brightened up my day seeing the children’s happy, smiley faces.”
Amanda Sleightholme, Home Manager at Hawthorn Court, said: “All of our lovely Residents enjoyed helping the children with their puzzles and crafts. We are really looking forward to trying out new activities that can be incorporated next time the children visit.”
