Residents and Colleagues at HC-One’s Westwood Lodge care home were delighted to welcome the local community to the home as they celebrated their harvest festival.
Everyone in the home took part as they created their own food bank for all donations, which would go to the local homeless shelter, The Brick.
Relatives and members of the local community joined the home as they provided food donations for the food bank.
Once the donations were handed to The Brick, the organisation were overwhelmed at the support they received, and thanked the home for their kindness.
Lorraine Young, Home Manager, commented: “Harvest festival was such a wonderful event, the Residents have enjoyed themselves, and it’s been lovely to help The Brick by donating items of food.”
