Councillor Habib Rahman, Sheriff of Newcastle-upon-Tyne, joined Sutherland Court care home in Fenham – part of HC-One, the kind care company – for its annual Harvest Festival on Friday 27th September.
Residents, team members and visitors were joined by Cllr Rahman for a day of autumnal activities, including, a harvest service, bingo, food bank collection, a scarecrow display and live entertainment. Everyone had a great time socialising and taking part in all of the different activities throughout the day.
Karen Stewart, home manager at Sutherland Court said: “This year’s Harvest Festival saw lots of people joining us for the celebrations and enjoying the entertainment and activities offered. We were pleased to see guests and Residents enjoying themselves on the day and are delighted with how the event went.”
