
Residents and visitors at HC-One’s Manor House in Upwood were treated to a day of fun on Friday 27th September with a Macmillan Cancer Support Coffee Morning and a Harvest Festival.
Tea lovers and cake connoisseurs came together for the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning at Manor House, a variety of baked goods and warm beverages were on offer which all of the money raised being donated to Macmillan Cancer Support.
Later in the day, Residents and guests enjoyed a range of autumnal activities and entertainment at the home’s annual harvest celebrations. Everyone had a wonderful time, one Resident commented on how much fun they had chatting with everyone and taking part in the seasonal festivities.
Bheki Perelion, Home Manager at Manor House said: “The harvest festival is an important day in our calendar when we can encourage community engagement, create new links with our Residents, and hopefully form new friendships.”
