Residents from HC-One’s Grosvenor House care home in Harrogate have enjoyed a little makeover this April Fool’s Day as they prepare to send personalised cards to their loved ones.
Grosvenor House Well-being co-ordinator, Lezlee, was the barber for the day as she spruced up the Residents to get them ready for their photo to be taken, to use as the front of a card that they will send to their Relatives.
Grosvenor House Residents Josie Thackray and Mavis Jones were two of the Residents who got their photo took and they really enjoyed getting their hair done and being able to keep in touch with their loved ones.
During this difficult time it has been tough for Residents to keep in touch with their loved ones, but this idea has been welcomed by all.
Grosvenor House Manager Sue Nutter said: “Relatives have been touched by the thoughtfulness of staff sending cards with their pictures on at this time when they cannot visit them.”
