Resident, Iris Mee of Fern House, Birch Court celebrated her 66th wedding anniversary to husband, David surrounded by family and friends.
Married 21st June 1952 at St Mary’s Church in Cadishead, they met at a dance at the local youth club in Irlam.
David was a design engineer and Iris was a secretary.The pair have 2 daughters Jane and Susan and a grandaughter.
David and Iris lived in Hollins Green before Iris moved to Birch Court.
The happy couple commented:
"We had a lovely day and thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon celebrations!"
