Residents at Chandlers Ford took a crafty shopping trip to Hobbycraft recently as they prepare for Easter celebrations and gain inspiration for their arts and crafts club.
Freda, one of the Residents, particularly enjoyed looking at the Easter bonnets and chose various wooden stencils to help create some Easter bunny decorations.
Cassie Munnoch, Home Manager, commented: “It’s great to see our Residents involved in decisions about activities that they enjoy, and be able to help with organising the events.”
Everyone then took a trip to the nearby garden centre, where they enjoyed walking around and admiring the colourful Spring flowers. Of course, the afternoon was rounded off nicely with a well-deserved scone and a lovely cup of tea in the café.
Sounds like a lovely afternoon was had by all!
