Residents from HC-One’s Douglas View care home in Hamilton welcomed some lovely fluffy friends on Tuesday 22nd October.
Everyone gathered in the lounge to welcome Bunny & Co, who brought some fluffy friends to the home to spend time with Residents and pupils from local primary school, St Paul’s. Rabbits, mice and guinea pigs were held by Residents and children as they learnt about their different behaviours.
One Resident commented: “It was lovely to feed the wee animals and see the children’s faces light up when they were holding them.”
Lyndsey Barnes, Douglas View Home Manager said: “Thank you to Bunny & Co for providing such an engaging session, it was such a fun activity for both Residents at Douglas View and pupils from St Paul’s.”
