Hamilton care home hosts annual Summer FayreDouglas View care home in Hamilton – part of HC-One, the kind care company – hosted a summer celebration for Residents, members of the team and the local community on Sunday 21st July.

A variety of stalls and games were on offer throughout the day, including an inflatable obstacle course, a tombola, motorbike display and the chance to hold the Calcutta Cup. 

Some special guests from the Scottish Fire Service, Hamilton Rugby Club and Shirley, the wife of Steven Brown, author of the McCoo books also attended the home’s annual Summer Fayre.

A great was had by all, Residents loved seeing so many new and familiar faces as well as taking part in all of the fun-filled activities on offer. Aubrey said: “What a delight it is to see the Calcutta Cup.”

Douglas View Home Manager, Lyndsey Barnes commented: “What an amazing day! Thank you so much to all of our visitors for coming along and helping to make more wonderful memories for our Residents.

“We managed to raise over £800 which will all be donated to the Resident’s Comfort Fund, thank you all for your support.”
