Creativity was in the air at HC-One’s The Hornchurch care home, as Residents took part in various arts and crafts activities together in preparation for Halloween.
Residents took part in a variety of activities, including using paper plates and cups to create ghosts and pumpkins.
Everyone enjoyed painting and decorating their own creations, and getting into the Halloween spirit.
Biscuits and warm beverages were enjoyed by all as they discussed their favourite parts of Halloween, and enjoyed making everything in the home look ‘spooky’.
Tania Banner, home manager, commented: “Residents have really enjoyed themselves this afternoon, they all love painting and said how much it reminded them of their days in school.”
