Halloween has been celebrated to the full at
Westwood Lodge nursing and end-of-life care home, in Wigan, as Residents have been enjoying pumpkin carving.
Roy Litherland, Eileen Pendlebury and Anne Graydon enjoyed pumpkin carving, where they chose a design for the pumpkins and named them.
It was a fun afternoon enjoyed by all.
To add to the festivities, Colleagues brought round a ‘trick or treat trolley’, all dressed up for Halloween and entertaining all that saw!
The Residents also enjoyed the Halloween games, which included staff racing at who could become a mummy the fastest with toilet roll!
Lorraine Young, Care Home Manager, remarked, “The Residents enjoyed their sweets and chocolate and loved the staff’s outfits.”
